Section 13: This section is based on sectione6 and 9 of

the Praya Reclamation Ordinance, 1889, Ordinance No. 16 of 1889,

and on sections 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the Harbour of Refuge Ordi-

nance, 1909, Ordinance No. 39 of 1909.

5. Section 16: The Government have undertaken to pay to the Hongkong Tramway Company Limited the net cost of carrying out the permanent alterations to their track and equipment necessary to effect the diversion of queen's Road and Arsenal Street shown on the plan referred to in the ordinance, and also the net cost of laying the Company's track to a fresh permanent alignment in Praya East, should the Government require this to be done.
